what's Gary doing with those guys? he's gotta be the fastest car in the club by about 3 seconds.....
Gary's one of my best friends. I've known him for almost 6 years now. He's one of the club founders, actually. And no, he's not the fastest. Gary Redmond is. He owns a '69 Z28 with a 427 that ran a best of 10.3 (last year) at Quaker. He's dropping in a 496 BBC. He's going 9's.

Kevin, what do we have in our club that's junk, exactly? I'm curious... Sorry we don't have any rusted out Vegas, Monzas, or any other throw away 70's cars. Sorry we stay true to our beliefs about what we like and let into our club. If we wanted anybody and everybody to join, we would have imports, motorcycles, monster trucks and a shitload of Mustangs in it. We're not one of those clubs...

And everybody thats on the website/myspace isn't everbody that's in the club. We have over 20 members, not bad for being a club that's less than a year old. Not too mention, we havn't even been TRYING to get members up to about a month ago. Most of the people that have been in it, are the ones we hang out with on a regular basis. And yes, that's Frank Napolitano's '79 Trans Am that you see on our myspace/website. He's another one of the founding members.
That's Franks Trans Am. That car is so fuc*ing bad ass
You said that at the Mahoning Plaza this past summer. That car isn't even built to be anything but a show car and it's a 12 second car. The other cars in the club run VERY well too. All of them are being worked on over the winter. Should be a fun summer. The Myspace comments were a joke. So relax. And what's "incredible" about my profile? I think it's pretty fuc*in awesome if you ask me..

Kevin, I have a GTP. It is my daily driver. If i didn't feel like driving it, i took a car from the dealership. My Trans Am hasn't been out for 2 years. I'm sorry that bothers you. I'm sorry my T/A is worth more with the entire drivetrain out of it, than your car is with your drivetrain in it. Tough luck. How am I a "Fawking Ricer"?! I have a PONTIAC GRAND PRIX for an everyday car. I have a PONTIAC TRANS AM WS6 for a toy. And I have a BUICK GRAND NATIONAL for a resto project when I one day find the time and money to fix it. Oh yeah, I DO have a CADILLAC ESCALADE as my backround on Myspace. I like the new Escalade, again, I'm sorry if that upsets you. I guess I'm trying to be a "FAWKING RICER" You know, for someone who's married, has kids and who's pushing 40 years old, I would think you would act a little more mature about this situation.

First off i will apoligize to Gary cause he was man enough to apoligize to me.
Yes,i did complament Frank's car, cause he deserved it.
As for you Mr Incredable!!
What p*ssed me off is you come on our message board and put everyone of our members down. Not one single "That aboy".You Know nothing about our "Car club" yet make judgements against us.All of the Members are my friends and you are downgrading them.Yet your "Incredable"?You know nothing about me.For example"pushing 40" I'm 32 thats a big difference. You know nothing about my car.I use to want it to look "clapped out".What REAL HOTRODDERS would call a sleeper.Would you have ever guessed it ran in the tens? No,because you judge cars and people by there looks.
We as Hollywood Knights don't car about "looks" or "Performance" in general,All of are cars are works in progress. We accept people for "who" they are and what there cars are.
Then i go looking for your car club site and find you bashing the Knights elsewhere on the internet.

Now let me tell you about yourself,
First off your a arrogant bastard in my book.
2nd your to stupid to build your own car/motor so you have to send it out to be worked on.
3rd your so gullable you got ripped off at the same time.
4th you talk way to much sh!t for not having a car running.
5th I'm not envious of your Fireturd.Anyone can buy a new factory quik car throw some more money at it and make it fast.try taking a 30 year old piece of junk and make it go fast.Takes alot more talent then you have.

I would really like a public apoligy towards the Knights from you.And then maybe we could let this go,and get our clubs to work together.

I know your car ran 10's, your screen name kinda gives that away, I'm happy for you. You accomplished the looking "clapped out" part too. I guess a congradulations is in order (?). I told you last winter while you were still working on your car that I thought it was cool and how I love LC2's (um, I have one). I told you that thing would be sick when it was done. I've talked to you at the plaza, "meander" and at Quaker stake and Lube since then. I've never had a problem with you. I just never understood what your deal was with me. Everytime I said something about a car or type of car I didn't like, or stated my opinion about ANYTHING, you always threatened to ban me. Actually you did before, because of that stupid "Mustang" Richad Simmons thing, and to this day I still think it's hilarious. It was to no offense to anyone in particular, it was just a joke. Isn't that what this club is about, anyway? "Juevenille, crass, pranksters?" I ask a question as to how a CAR CLUB that's an "american, RWD, muscle, classic, performance" CAR CLUB, how it can let motorcycles and monster trucks in. Gary even made a joke about it saying "What's next, airplanes, rock crawlers and imports?" You call me a "Fawking Ricer." I'm still confused on how my daily driver '98 GTP is a rice mobile? It has a 240hp supercharged 3.8L V6 (3800 series 2, L67) Buick engine. Loosely based off of the same architecture as your LC2. I don't get it. It looks exactly like this..
http://home.xnet.com/~paulv/98GTP.jpg
I didn't "build my car on my own" because I didn't have the garage space (still don't), I didn't have the time (still don't) and I don't even have shit for tools(still don't, used to) I don't expect anyone to be envious about anything I have, running or not. I build my cars for me. i build it (or have it built) the way I want it. I have no plans to ever be in the 9's or 10's, honestly. Maybe nip the 10's but I doubt it. I honestly don't give a shit about what anybody says, thinks, or feels about me or my cars. I'm not "arrogant" because of my cars. It's just the way I am. It comes natural I guess, I dunno. Maybe it's just the way i talk or the way I walk. Maybe it's the tone I use in my voice. But I'm actually a really great guy. I'm always there for my friends and even people I hardly know for help or advice about ANYTHING. I just don't kiss anyone's ass. Doesn't matter who it is. I'll show respect to anyone. But I'm not going to ooh and ahh over a 12 second Honda either, just because some dude "did it himself". I understand the value of building up a "slow car and make it fast" but I'm not into cars that were considered rejects even when they were new. I understand the "cool factor" and the "stealthiness" of a sleeper but me personally, I can't ride around in a car that looks like it was pulled from a swamp bed either, that's just me I guess. I have my tastes, you have yours. That's why Skittles come in a variety of flavors, different strokes for different folks, etc. As far as our club goes, since you so blantanly brought it up and blasted it. We're all about racing/car shows, etc. You don't have to race to be in our club. You don't have to show your car to be in our club. But you have to do one or the other. Our club is like a band of brothers, like yours is. We're cool as fu** until somebody fu**s with us or our cars. We don't allow cars that "look like jalopies but run like hell" into our club. We look at it as if you wave our "flag" on your car, you're representing all of us. Your car has to be presentable. If your car runs 8's, FANTASTIC!! But if it looks like it belongs in a junkyard at the same time, then you wouldn't be voted in. That's just how it is, sorry. I didn't mean for the Myspace comments to be offensive to anyone. Again, it was a JOKE. No big deal, I posted that like, 3 weeks ago. Which by the way, was on someones PERSONAL profile. It's not like I came on here and posted those. I almost forgot about it, actually. I never intended to "out do" or "call out" any other club. In fact, that's one of the things we're against. A friendly grudge match we would all be down for, but it's not like we're looking to fight either. So I'll apologize for (not intending to) insulting and coming off as rude, arrogant and a prick to all of the friendly:suspect: HWK members. But I WON"T appologize for stating my personal opinions and beliefs on a public/local automotive messege board. Oh, and can you fix the website? It's like, if you're looking at a page and don't post anything for more than 5 minutes, it automatically logs you out. Kinda inconvienient. Thanks :)

That's almost funny, Scott. You know, I've never met you, but Gary thinks you're cool so I won't say much. But if you want to log on and actually post a REAL conversation, then feel free. Don't come on and talk to us like we're a bunch of goofball domestic ricers that race stock base model Cavaliers and Cobalts. I'm sorry we don't have any 8 seconds cars in our club YET. We are just getting started you know... Believe it or not, there was a time when the HWK's only had 20 members. Wasn't THAT long ago..

i'd be happy they at least signed up, hell i can't get any y town folk to come to esm/bbp they dont even go on erieknights.com so the more people the better i'd say

forums are not clubs they should never be run from online. I know this because we've tried it once it never worked. As is you have meetings good, but never make any decisions online, or give important info, that way there is a reason to go to meetings. If i would ever manage a club again i have certain ideas and ways to make it run efficiently. But i doubt that'll happen again.

We don't make ANY decisions about ANYTHING online. We have our leadership meetings like any other club. It would be similar to your "Knights of the round table" meetings. We just call ours "Leadership" meetings. There's 5 of us that started the club, those 5 vote on certain topics/subjects and who we let in and don't. Obviously, I'm one of the 5 considering I'm the President. Most of you could probably figure out who the other 4 are.

oh ya nda ur on there.. sorry bout that. i think big daddy craig is on ther ealso.. not sure who else..

so 5 people make all the sayings? what do the rest of the members vote on or have a say in? I believe everyone should have a say. I know when itgets large like 50+ u need voted officials to plan most of the events and what not. But the members have to know their wordmatters and counts, if not whats the point in being in a club or going to meetings. I feel everyone should feel like they contribute in it.

We do accept anybody/everybodys opinions/ideas. If a regular member has a hook up with parts for example, we use it. If they have an idea for the club, we listen. If we like it, it gets approved my club leaders. And believe me, all 5 of us have a different mind frame. So we agree/disagree just as much. It works out, trust me. But as far as Leadership goes, we were the ones that started the club. We're the ones who run it. This way our club stays true to its beliefs and values. i don't want Civics, monster trucks and go-peds in our club 5 years from now...

By me saying THAT long ago, I meant like you know, a decade. I thought you guys were a car club as LEAST since '02. Our club was just an IDEA in March of '06. That's when the 5 got together and said, "Let's start a car club." We didn't even contact anybody else about joining the club until May of '06. We made a few calls to the people in our inner circle of friends who weren't already in a car club or who wanted to join a club. Over the past 2 months we've added over 10 new members. Keep in mind through out this past summer most of the club members were working a lot and most of our cars were down, not leaving anytime to even prospect for new members. So we had a whopping 9 members from May-December and we added 11 since. Also, we are just a GM only car club, so there are no Fords, Mopars, etc. So like I said, I think we're doing pretty well.

Thanks :)
I will accept your apology, just hope some of the other Knights do.but if i catch any Knights bashing i will start a holy war.
And another thing, your last posts in this topic have been some of the most human you've done on this board,Keep it up.

Almost missed it.

wow. instead of real comebacks you people keep making yourselves look more immature by the things you say. "drop a nut"...classy.
It means "hit puberty", you know, like when your manhood appears for the first time. Oh, wait...
If you're talking about Fuc*ing, then I probably got more ass by the time i turned 18 than you have gotten in your entire life.

Somehow I doubt that. Unless you're counting it by the pound, then maybe, but still probably not.

I have a question pertaining to this statement from your board.

When we host car benefit car shows/drag race events this summer, NON-members can participate in the festivities as well. The more the merrier.

Except for the people that have these type of cars, correct?

I don't care how fast it is, it's still garbage. Just like any other of the automotive mistakes of American history. Vega, Pinto, Maverick, Citation, Chevette, Mustang, Monza, Aspen/Volare, Dart/Duster/Demon.....

I was a little more than upset when I typed that second section. That was from yesterday. The "Just like any other of the automotive mistakes of American history." line I was actually talking about the Yugoslavian Yugo's if you look at my post. Trying to make a point that if someone had an 8 second Yugo, it's still a Yugo. 1/4 mile times isn't what we're all about. It's not what gets you in the club. And the "Mustang" was obvious sarcasm. Unless you're talking about the Mustang II. If it wasn't for the Mustang the Fbodys would've probably never happened. That I'll grant you. But if someone wants to make an appearence at one of our shows/race events that owns one of those vehicles then have at it.

Hey RICK! Now you get to hear from OUR Prez! I've heard you bashing MY work through the grapevine, never said anything because it's just that. "He said she said" type bullshyt that I don't go for. SECONDLY you come on a website that I personally built from scratch, and bash MY club???? And then do the same thing on your own "cookie cutter" myspace bullshyt website? I've NEVER said a bad word about you or MVO! Ask Gary, whom I consider a friend. A slightly off-the-wall friend, but a friend none the less. LOL

Now, that being said, I'm not pissed. That's why I've let this thread go on for 5 friggin pages. I truly wish you and your club the best of luck. Seriously!!!! Little history lesson on our chapter of the Knights though. In october of 2000, we had 12 people at the meeting. "Charter members". In April of 2001, the roundtable decided to shut membership off at 100!!! Cuz the club was growing too big, too fast. Not pattin ourselves on the back, just wanted to make sure we knew what we were getting into.

If you have a problem with me, my 40 year old car, or my club, then be a man and tell me. Simple. I REALLY don't appreciate you're little "hellraiser" picture on your website, but at least you thought about my car enough to do "something". You should prolly find a picture of the BACK end of it though, so you get used to it. And for the record, I pay NOONE to do ANYTHING to my cars!!! Myself and my friends do EVERYTHING, just as most people in this club do. And I prolly have a smaller garage than you do. LOL

Basically, I'm not upset. A little peeved at best. What's your deal, when/where did you become so upset with out club? In this valley, with jobs being scarce, tracks shutting down, car plants closing, etc etc. It's paramount that organizations work together toward a common goal. Car clubs are not different. What's our common goal? Promoting hot rods. Period. We seriously need to work this out and get on with it.....

I thought we already did settle it. But I guess not. I don'thave a problem with you your car or anything else. BUT....Our MySpace is just that. A MYSPACE! We ALSO have a REAL website too. www.mvoutlawz.com. We built from scratch. It's still in the process of be finished. The pictures of "your cars" were NOT displayed on the MVO MySpace, but on a members comments list. That's it. We created our own "niche" (if you will) car club to honor cars that bring a group of people together that share the same (or at least, similar taste) in cars. It's an all factory high performance GM car club, so obviously, we won't automatically have 8,000,000 members the first year. I honestly don't give a shit how many members we have. Hell, if we still only have 20 members 10 years from now, I wouldn't mind. Another thing. It's just about having a group of people to go out and race and show off our cars together, that's it! We created our CLUB from SCRATCH. We didn't steal the name and logo from a shitty movie from the early 80's. We didn't call our wesite "Tubby's Drive-In" we don't call forum members' stats "Officer Bimbeau" or "Dudley" like the movie. We don't call ourselves the Hollywood Knights, because we're not from Hollywood. They did because they were. I just watched for the first time a few months back, it sucked. The only good thing about it was the '57 Chevy, the '65 GTO, the '65 El Camino and the young, hot Michelle Pfeiffer. That's it. The rest of the movie is disposable. The dialogue sucked, the acting sucked, there was absolutly no plot, there wasn't any racing in it AT ALL other than that 5 second bs with the '57 and the AC/Shelby Cobra with the 2 Asians driving. I wanted my money back and I saw it on tv. But that's just me. As far as me not working on "my own cars". Um, let me put it this way. I have no time. In fact, my Buick hasn't ran since 1998. It still has the 5/99 expiration stickers on the plates...which are still on the car. That's just to give you an example. Honestly, If I would've done my T/A myself it would probably STILL be engineless anyway. I don't have time. In fact, I should've left for work 5 minutes ago. We will, or will Not continue this conversation....

LMAO @ LITTLE Z!!! I LOVE the new signature!!!

Rick, you started off good. I was thinking to myself, this is a well thought out intelligent reply. Then ya lost it.

This club ISN'T about the movie. Well, I can't say that 100% honestly, it IS but it ISN'T. Same cars, and no we're not from Hollywood. But neither is the Boston chapter, the Pittsburgh chapter, the Erie Chapter, the Cleveland chapter, or the Chicago chapter. But, the HOLLYWOOD chapter is! Gettin my drift here bro? You bitch about "my" monster truck, and you have an S10 TRAIL BLAZER in your club?????

I don't wanna fight with you. Ask anyone in this club, or anyone that knows me. I'm NON-confrontation, until ya piss me off. WHICH, you haven't done yet.

I'd really like to continue this conversation, for the simple reason of working out our differences. We need to work together. I understand your niche, and I respect you wanting 20 members total. Sometimes I'd like that very same thing, but unfortunately our "niche" isn't as narrow as yours is, so we have a ton of members. It's an absolute chore sometimes.

Anyways Rick, I'm not pissed. I hate GM's, especially Chevelle's TA's, and Fire chickens, and 67-69 camaros, but that has nothing to do with you. I developed that bad taste in my mouth a looooooong time ago.

It's all about you at this point. You wanna work this out? I'm willing to listen. Ya wanna be a bonehead? I'll tell ya go outside and play hide and go fawk yourself.

Like I said, I'm not pissed, but the ball's in your court at this point. What you do with it is entirely up to you.

P.S. Ya might wanna stay off of Scotty G. Trust me on this one, you have NOTHING for him on the track, and you also have NOTHING for him when it comes to wit on message forums. And I use NOTEPAD to build my websites, not "JOOMLA" FYI. And I stay away from Cascading Style Sheets, you know those "CSS" files you're so fond of. They eat up lots of server space.

See, now ya went and pissed me off. I actually read some of the shyt on your "myspace" web pages, but because I'm over the age of 20, I have better things to do with my time, and don't understand the whole "blog" "myspace" BS.

The car in this pic:
http://myspace-701.vo.llnwd.net/01546/10/75/1546395701_l.jpg

That YOU are making fun of, happens to be a 1966 Ford Fairlane GT/GTA convertible, (can't see the trans), and in it's CURRENT condition is worth about 3/4 of what YOUR "hot rod" is.

BUT, I wouldn't expect you to know that. Maybe if you got off of "myspace" once in awhile.........

Rick, at best i would call you a car enthusiast.you don't like the movie "Hollywood Knights" but you know every line from "Fast and the Furious".
The Yellow five seven Chevy,is the Famous "Project X" from Popular Hotrodding. It was built all through out the 70's with readers input.the cruising and the racing was portrayed just as it was back then.Alot of us still leave by those ways.
Read some of this, you may learn something.

Your not a Hot Rodder, thats the reason for calling you a car enthusiast(at best).
A Hot Rodder would appreciate any car,be it a jalopy of a Riddler winner.

Alright. What a way to introduce myself to everyone who doesnt know me but im Tom Seitz (Ricks Bro) . Ive been out and about hanging out with Gary Evanoff and my bro down at the plaza and around town plenty of times for the past like 5 years. Ive met and know quite a few of the Knights such as, Trapper, Craig, Kevin, etc. I own a 94 Firebird Formula, had it since I was 15 (first car actually baught it off Gary E.) and basically redid the entire car. Ive been down to the plaza with my car a few times over the summer this past year. Ive been on your forums alot reading post but never registered till now.

Alright enough of the intro. Im not here to start $hit or argue. The whole Myspace comment bs was just some stupid joke. The attack on Greg and Scotty G was just because of the $hit thats going on here. Thats been cleared up and apologys made for that. The website is a work in progress and is done by Gary Redmond. Its only been up and running for the last 2 months. Personally I dont have anything against your club and personally I see nothing wrong with the one I helped create. Everyone has there own taste in cars, clothes, girls, shoes, hobbies, music, alcohol. My taste in cars just happens to be more into GM cars, but thats me. The Hollywood Knights and The Mahoning Valley Outlawz are both local clubs and face it we will both run into eachother more then a dozen times this coming year. This whole drama our clubs better then yours thing needs to stop. Like someone else said earlier in the post "why dont the clubs both work together". Not a bad idea if I say so myself....

You guys do have fast cars, theres no doubt about it. We dont have any 8 second cars as of right now but im sure we will in the future. Sure we have a Trailblazer SS in the club, but it also runs 14.1 stock from the factory and has a LS2 vette motor in it. Not bad for a big ass SUV. We are a ALL GM High Performance car club (from the factory). We say Factory highperformance cars that way we dont get some Rice boy trying to join that put a wing and neons and a fart can on his Cavalier. We arent all about speed either, some members just show there cars.

Yea we set up our club a little different. We arent a bunch of a$$holes either or a bunch of punk kids lookin to fight people or start shit. We are talking about doing alot of charity shows/cruises to help raise funding for Cancer. Hopefully if everyone can just drop this whole drama thing maybe our clubs can work together on getting some events, shows, cruises or like i said somthing to benefit somebody who has some kind of illness.

I think we all need to just drop this and let things be. You can bash me for what im saying I honestly dont care but im coming on here talking sense besides beating eachothers asses and bitching back and forth about nonsense that isnt gonna solve anything. Just my opinion.

Well put Tommy, that's EXACTLY what I was getting at. You just happened to put it into words a bit better than I did. I don't want/like/need all the drama bullshyt either. I'm not head hunting your brother, or your club. Simply not true. But I WILL caution you. I take this club and it's members VERY seriously. Wit' me? Nuff said....

All you guys have to do is tell us when/where your shows are, and I GAHR-UN-TEE you'll see more than one of us!!!! Our #1 Charity is Make A Wish Foundation. We've given them ALOT of ching over the years, but it's been a rewarding expierience for all involved. We've had a couple of "their" kids at our track rentals even. It's just a great thing when a bunch of friends can get together, help each other out, and make some money to help out some strangers along the way.

Like I said before, I respect your club, until I see childish crap about MY club on YOUR site. That was unprovoked, and uncalled for.

KEVIN, you're absolutely right. The ball is in my court, and I extended the "olive branch". If it gets sent back, fair enough and we'll work together.

If it gets bitten off, I hope for their sake that they can chew fast.

Yeah you know im not out to start a bunch of 1st grade drama. Personally im as hardcore a car guy as the rest of us (I think it came with the car when I baught it  ). To put it simply my car was a busted ass POS but I didnt see it that way. Sure alot of people gave me crap about it but I didnt care I put every dime I had into it working minimum wage poor mans money going from check to check. Hell I remember I was happy when I was 16 and got a check I could buy new wires and plugs for it :hysterica . Cars been a work in progess and still is to this day. Hell kids when they were 15 and 16 for there b-day and chrismas were asking for new video games or whatever the hell was cool at the time, I was asking for car parts. Its come a very long way but I wouldnt sell that thing for anything, to many good times. Yeah im as hardcore GM guy as you can get but the way I see it anymore is if its American cool because lets face it theres not to many kids left in the younger generations that are into American power. My bros not a bad guy, lol might be kinda hard to convince ya guys after this crap but hes not. Just lookin for things to be peaceful again so our 2 clubs can begin to talk about somthing worth while besides all this negative $hit.

Im just ready for Summer....lol.

Was Rick's room on the side of the house with power lines and lead?

Can we put a end to the ball busting before we get this whole thing all fired up again and we are back to square one? Not trying to sound like a dick but I think its time everyone just let this go and start talkin about somthing we all care about and thats summer and gettin our cars out of the garages, and hopefully we can talk about getting things straightened out between clubs and lookin forward to somthing worth while.

KEV, chill. Please? Lemme do "my job" and work this out.

Tommy, you're right on track my friend. BUT, Rick's caused some problems over here, and we have a history of holding grudges. You work on your side, I'll work on mine.

WE NEED to work together!!!! Hell, we occupy the same space! LOL

lol it was alot rougher then it looked. I changed the plugs after I got it cause you had the NGK TR6s i changed them for NGK TR55s. The whole front end of the car was replaced, drivers fender busted, front bumper had holes in the bottom of it and the passengers side fender had a crack in it from when it was hit, frame needed straightened, transmission was garbage (but it did last me till this past summer at Steel Valley with me beating on it since I owned it). The car couldnt pass E Check (screw Portage Country) to save its life, it failed by 400 somthing points in like everything :hysterica . So after replacing the whole front end, replacing the plugs, wires, o2 sensors, repainting the whole car, changing the busted drivers tail light, changing the cat and exhaust, getting the fram straightened, getting a new transmission, getting new springs and shocks to replace the factory ones that were still on it, etc etc etc etc etc. The cars finally a true badass of its class like it should be.

Just wonderin' what frame there is to straighten on a unibody car? Just the front subframe I'm assuming? And what did you hit to bend that up?

Yeah the front of it was out of wack. The drivers side fender you can kinda tell in the pic Gary posted of his T/a and the Formy back in the day you can kinda notice some damage where the bumper and fender meet. Some dude smacked the drivers side fender and screwed up more then what was noticible. I dont know the whole story but thats what I do know. Nah if someone hit me id be in Prison :guns: .

Heres a few pics of what my Formula looks like now.

Ok, where do I begin? While I was at work tonight I had around 10 hours or so to think about this, and think about it the entire time, I did. I never meant to come off as a prick. But everytime I tried to make a point about a certain topic, or have an opinion, or just asked a SIMPLE question about the Knights or it's rules, I got attacked. Everytime, since day one. Example: "Why do you guys let monster trucks and motorcycles into the CAR club?" All i wanted was a simple answer to this simple question. But people took offense to it (not mentioning any names) Another Example: Last winter, I put up a question about if it were possible to let a FWD drive car into the club. People said no, I ask "Why not?" and it turned into this HUGE 18 page argument about FWD imports. I never said anything about imports, but stuff like Grand Prix GTP's, Taurus SHO's, Neon SRT-4's, etc. And it just turned into a terrible conversation. Then there were the inevitable F-body vs. Mustang posts. All the Ford people always make a point that GM killed off the Camaro/Firebird, but everybody who pokes fun about it doesn't really know why they were killed off. When I go to explain, (PLEASE don't ask again, there are more than a few reasons) i get bashed again and get called a "Know it all" etc. Maybe I just got fed up, I don't know. But I have a short fuse. I have absolutly no patience for anybody or anything. If someone rubs me the wrong way, I take it too personal. It's a problem I have stemming back to childhood. Tommy and I both had a tough time growing up. Me more so than him. I was more of a father figure to him than an older brother. We're 8 years apart, I'm 26 (I know, I look younger), he's 18. I'm gonna leave the past where it belongs and keep our personal lives personal, but I am gonna say that I helped that kid a LOT throughout his life. I've chipped in MORE than my fair share towards that car of his. I'll put it this way, if it weren't for me, that car would STILL be sitting in our backyard half torn apart with a bent front frame, unpainted and not on the road since '04 when he bought it. The polished aluminum 5 spokes that are on that car are my original WS6 rims, I gave those to him. As a matter of fact, I could've AT LEAST got my T/A back on the road AFTER I got ripped off, for what I put into that car, but instead, I decided to help my brother, because I felt sorry for HIM. But that's just the kind of "arrogant bastard" I am, I guess. He's lucky to have that car. My first car (not counting my '79 "project" Camaro) was an '84 S-10 Blazer 4x4 "Sport" (lol) with a 2.8 V6 and a 2bbl carb. It had more rust on it than paint, but I loved that truck as much as he loves his car. I've always been there for my friends and my family for anything they needed. As far as this "Knights bashing" goes... The MySpace comments WERE NOT on our Outlawz website NOR our Outlawz MySpace. It was a comment I sent to A friends PERSONAL MySpace from MY PERSONAL MySpace as a J-O-K-E. That's all, nothing more, nothing less. Again, I'm pretty much over this, Bill. I think everybody is/was. But you came in on this thread pretty much after the smoke cleared and dumped gasoline on whatever coals were left. So let's settle this now. There is NO BEEF between The Outlawz and The Knights. There is NO BEEF between Bill, Kevin or any of the other Knights and myself.

Read some of this, you may learn something.
http://www.popularhotrodding.com/features/0404phr_1957_chevy_project_x_car/

Your not a Hot Rodder, thats the reason for calling you a car enthusiast(at best).
A Hot Rodder would appreciate any car,be it a jalopy of a Riddler winner.

That red Willys is tits. The '57 I now remember from a PHR issue I have, I just didn't realize it was the same car from that movie. I have subscriptions to PHR, GMHTP and High Performance Pontiac. The clapped out looking pick-up is considered a "rat rod" which I think is cool. But there's a BIG difference between a "rat rod" and your average rusted out "built up sleeper" Chevette. At least, IMHO. As far as quoting F&F, if you hang out with Gary long enough, the entire script becomes EMBEDDED in your brain, lol. He quotes that movie as a joke. Me and him have the same sick sense of humor, more or less. But on the other hand, Frank Napolitano and I were text messeging lines from Smokey and the Bandit back and forth to eachother for about 2 hours or so the other night while I was at work, lol. I had to correct HIM a couple of times, lol. I LOVE classic car movies. I just can't get into the HWK movie at all. It almost isn't even watchable for me, I dunno what it is. American Graffitti, Vanishing Point, Two-Lane Blacktop, Smokey and the Bandit 1 (2&3 were dogshit IMO) and even Christine are among my favorites. Hell, my parents took me to see "Christine" at the drive-in when I was 3 (1983). I actually remember a lot of that night, good times. My parents used to take me to Super Nats as a kid all through the '80's. After they split, I went on my own a few times through the '90's, but my HS friends weren't into it. No one in my HS was when I was there. You were automatically considered a hick or white trash if you wore a "Summit Racing" t-shirt to my school. No one was into cars there then, that sucked. So in a way, you kinda-sorta have to thank F&F for making "being into cars" cool again. And I actually have to thank my ex-girlfriend from back in the day for breaking up with me, because thanks to her, I bought my T/A, got back into cars again, made some real friends and found my true self.

That's cool. I think it's cool when someone loves whatever car/truck they have. But when someone loves something YOU don't like. They're a retard (you have said it) and you have zero respect for what they like. But respect must mean kissing ass, so you don't give it.

I have absolutly no patience for anybody or anything.

Yeah, you have a tude and you know it. You just don't know that tude is what gets you bashed. It shows in most all of your posts except for a few recent ones.

You're brother comes on here and in the very few posts he's made, he seems cool as hell. I'll admit I figured your club was full of know it all cocky ricer (ricer is considered an attitude anymore, you can drive dom rice, or be a dom driving ricer) dicks, cause of the way you come off on here. But it looks like he's proved/ing me wrong. Time will tell of course.

But till then, welcome aboard LTI Fury. Nice car, and yanno what makes it really nice? That you take pride in it and so far, you're not bashing what others take pride in. I have a Monza and Pinto I take pride in. (yeah, I know, how?) anyways, yeah I wish my car "looked" nicer and was even faster. But it just isn't in the cards right now to do so. Alot of shit has happened and I consider myself very lucky that I've been able to hold on to them so far, considering alot of guys out there have had to sell their stuff off. I still try to show support for car events as much as I can even tho my car is sub par in alot of peoples eyes. I just wonder at times if I should bother bringing it out to some events with what I hear.

for what my 2 cents is worth, Gary is OK in my book - i've been a fan of his wacky board persona for a couple years - he's a witty, creative, on the edge kinda guy. sure there's some attitude, all of the go fast guys have some - especially the street racers.

i get into alot of trouble on other boards myself - typed sarcastic humor (one of my specialties) has a tendency to come across harsher than intended. i probably read what he writes differently than most since i have similar 'personality' issues elsewhere....

He is in my book too. One night we were all at the plaza and everyone split. Gary was talking to Camaro 76 and I strolled on over there and Gary asked 76 if he wanted to go check out his car and then he asked me if I wanted to also. He showed us what he had done to it and even fired it up for us, no doubt waking a buncha people up. lol That was cool as hell and especially letting my shitbox Monza in his driveway. :tooth:
