I know the race season is coming to an end, but if anyone else out there besides Craig or myself has used a Quadrajet, I have a few tips that might help you. Probably the most important tip is to take the carb apart and on the bottom side of the main body, you'll see 4 protruding bosses. 2 big near the secondaries and 2 smaller near the primary bores. these are the jet wells, where the gas flows from the bowl thru the jets. These have pressed fittings on them, and will leak after time, causing bogs and hard starts from gas slowly leaking into your manifold. Get some JB-weld and smear a thin coat on all 4 areas. This will help stop the ever popular BOG when you apply the gas, and also stop those HARD starts after your car has been sitting. And before all you holley bastards bad mouth the Qjets, earlier this year I ran a 750 Qjet and only ran about a tenth slower than i did with a 750 Double Pumper ! <!--emo&-->http://www.knights-rule.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/devil.gif<!--endemo--> <!--Signature-->
