youngstown meet idea

Would any NE Ohio/NW PA people be up for a meet next summer? I think there are enough people in the area to pull off a decent sized get together. Could allow any GM muscle car, and I guess we could allow Mustangs and fast imports to tag along

Could go to Quaker for a night of racing, Chili's for dinner and carshow, and maybe goto Mill Creek Park for outdoor activities [fishing, baseball, batting cages, short holes, row/peddle boats, hiking trails, photo ops, ect] and some BBQ.

Any suggestions?

sean we have events that we advertise down there, Downtown fridays events here, ERIERIDEZ.com is doing a big event at lakeeriespeedway, and the knights in youngstown are doing steel valley nats at quar. the erie knights are doing some other cruise inn's and a big one at powerhouse automotive on fathers day. So were good, we invite the Y town knights to meetings and what not nov 19th i believe their coming up to drink and hang at scorchers and what not.

the guys from GMR Speed in cleveland is having an event next summer too. it'll basically be an fbody event but theres talk of letting fords and imports in too. as soon as i hear anything new i'll post it!

Yeah, the GMR thing is open to anyone, ferds, GM's, imports alike, last year it was mainly Fbodys because they had just started up and were pretty much only at Fbody.com. that would be a good idea, it's a small drive, about 45 min from struthers, but they've got a nice setup and a dyno there they do pulls on, and drag way 42 isn't that far away either. I'll call Rick and get him to start posting on here

I met all the guys GMR Speed, Nice guys. They got a nice dyno setup. My brother knows them better then I do,He tunes his 98 ss there. They did one thrack rental at 42 this year. I think there planing a few next year. I know they do alot of dyno days at the shop.
